Woven through all presentations will be our conference theme which aims to: inspire fresh perspectives in audiology; drive innovation with the latest technologies and research; and embrace diverse voices to create accessible solutions for everyone. We want every delegate to leave feeling motivated, empowered, and prepared to make a lasting impact in hearing care.

Pre-conference Workshop

Listening and Helping: Counselling Essentials for Non-Counsellors

Facilitators: Counselling Educator and three audiologists
Content: This engaging workshop combines didactic and interactive activities to cover essential topics, including differentiating between affective and informational counselling, building strong partnerships throughout the audiology process, and recognising the right moments to pause, reflect, and explore with clients.

Cost: $120.00 per person.
Limited numbers apply, must to be registered to attend the conference.(Minimum: 25 attendees; Maximum: 48 attendees)

  • Paediatric workshop
    The NZAS paediatric technical advisory group is hosting a paediatric workshop.  This would be most valuable for audiologists currently working with babies and infants referred from UNHSEIP for ABR assessment and habilitation. 
    The workshop will discuss: the current UNHSEIP Diagnostic and Amplification protocols with particular focus on ABR testing using the Eclipse and Vivosonic, validation of hearing aid fittings using aided speech testing,  VRA with neuro-divergent patients, and case discussion and a question and answer session.
